Please Leave a comment for the Daily Lobo below

It has come to my attention that the Independent Voice of UNM, The Daily Lobo has declined to publish a column dealing with the Impeachment of President George Walker Bush and Vice President Richard Bruce Cheney! Article II, Section 4 of the United States Constitution states, "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

Apparently leaking the identity of a CIA Front Company dealing in the proliferation of weapons of mass murder in rogue states during a time of war isn't Treason? Leaking military secrets to Israeli Spies at the American Israeli Public Affairs Lobby during a time of war isn't a hanging offense? The White House shutting down a U.S. Grand Jury investigating Bush Pioneer Jack Abramoff isn't bribery?
Lying to 'start' a war that kills over 100,000 human beings is not a high crime or a misdemeanor? Is this Democracy or Tyranny?

The President has granted himself the power to spy on Americans without a warrant, arrest Americans without charges, detain them without access to lawyers, and execute them without a trial.

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican so I believe that No President or Vice President is above the law! The War Party of Republicans and Democrats have not lived up to their oaths to God to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, they should all step down and resign.

The actions of the U.S. Corporate media, neither Liberal nor Conservative, are those of traitors to the American People!

What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of offending the UNM Ronald Reagan "Freedom" Society, the UNM Chicken hawk College Republicans? Are you afraid of being called Anti-American? Are you afraid of being called Anti-Semitic? Speak truth 2 unchecked power!

It's time to drag the Lobo out of its lair and into the sunlight of the constitutional republic that made its very existence possible. Maybe we should all get a look at its true colors. We used to laugh at the sad state of affairs under communism when no one dare criticize their leadership. What we are becoming isn't even funny.

Is there any background to this story? Was there any pressure put on this college paper to refuse any such commentary? That is, school papers throughout the country publish at the discretion of the administration of their sponsoring schools. If the money gets pulled, then they can't publish anything. This practice of censoring publicly financed "journalism" has been a well known secret for a long time. So, is this what happened?

When the students at the University of Oregon became concerned that their school was accepting large donations from the Nike company they tried to point out some of the unfair working conditions tolerated in the factories making Nike shoes. The CEO of that company pulled the large donations until the administration of the University promised the students would be good enough to not protest.

Perhaps the UNM has some big donation that will not be made if the student paper besmirches the honor of our President. Heaven forbid.

Come on, why focus on the Lobo, a minuscule college paper? Go after the Journal, Tribune, Channel 4,7,13, and the other major media outlets in the state, much less the New York Times.

Hostile takeovers happen to the independent little guys. The free market hates competition.

We need more of these open letters to all mainline newspapers!

The reason few academics or college administrators step out with the truth is because they fear losing their federal grant money. It's a simple as that. They've become whores, like the media who suck up to anyone for a story.

Here are some questions: Do you actually have a story? Where are you interviews? Who said what? Where did you get this information? From reading your blog it seems clear to me that you actually have no story. No content. You have a tirade. You have used a baseless rumor or malleable bit of information in order to build yourself a foundation for the massaging of your own bloated ego.

Bush should be impeached. He broke the rules and there is no reason why that should be denied. If you want to do something about it, then do it. Blogging is the least you can do. Attacking a college newspaper is the least you can do. Your efforts will do no more than fill your followers with hate. And the opposition will completely ignore you.

In defense of the Lobo, even a college newspaper receives hundreds of news briefs a day. It seems perfectly understandable that a story on a currently inert movement to impeach the president would be held. It would be a report on nothing.

If you are serious and really want a change here’s some advice. Make some friends in every major city, send out petitions for the investigation of Bush, get at least 10,000 signatures in every city (I’m sure this can easily be done), send a well-written letter of intent to one of the “good” supreme court justices. You can do this yourself. If you really care at all do something besides what you do now. If this doesn’t work, THEN you have a story for the newspapers. THEN complain about to the Lobo, the Tribune, the Journal. You will actually have something to complain about.

If you wonder why I don’t do this myself I will tell you: I don’t really care. Empires collapse, rulers are born and die. But it does take a lot of hard working devoted people to make change. However, lazy, self-righteous dipshits, sitting in blue glow of a Cheeto-infested apartment rarely accomplish anything.

Petitions don't matter much in an age of computer voting fraud!

This is ridiculous. Honestly. You are picking on a student paper who probably just didn't have enough room for a column, instead of attacking the real corporate newspapers who write stories under strict censorship of the US dollar. These are a bunch of students working for pennies and little appreciation. I'm about as liberal as they come, but I know the difference between corporate media and a free student paper.

Do your research.
